Redhat 8.0 has the default driver for the Creative SB Live and Audigy, and they are working fine. However, they are not actually from the kernel, because even the latest 2.4.20 kernel doesn't have the sound support for Creative Audigy.
Anyone knows what sound architecture REdhat 8.0 is using? OSS or AlSA?
I have compiled my custom kernel, but there is no sound support. So, I would like to know what Redhat default is using.
thanks very much.
