I found this on the net, seemingly the same problem.. the message refers to 
2.4.21-something .. is it safe to assume that this is a known problem that 
an upcoming kernel release will be correcting?  Or does this case not effect 
2.4.20-(9?)?

Should work ok in with the change in pre3-ac
