Good, Thanks for being here to help.
Extreme Linux Newbie here!
I purchased Red Hat 9 for Dummies on ebay.
Just installed it on an old E-Machine 533.
It runs slow. Could this be because it only has 64mb ram?
I know 9 is no longer supported but I have only played with Linux and this
seemed to be the cheapest route without going to school.
I have also tried Linspire and Freespire but they would not work on this
machine.
I hope to learn to install a web, e-mail, ftp, file, server (etc).
Any tips and help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
JohnH
