And if there only is an update for i386 does it mean that the i686 itsn't broken ?

	Hi There

My server wen't down, and now i have to reinstall and patch it manually :-(

And i really never could figure out how it works with the i386 and i686 rpm's.

when i query the the rpm, it dosn't report which model it is.

Can i mix it, or does it have to be straight.

I found something in the archives, where there was problems with replacing a i686 rpm with a i386. You had to delete the /lib/i686 files manually.

On my machine there is only a /lib/i686.

I do count on using the noarch rpm's.

My machine is a Pentium 4.

	Have a good day

	Henrik
