re - excel format (.xls), open office? should be able to load the file.

re - floppy - floppy is located in /mnt/floppy - you can copy files
using File Browser instead of terminal window. You must 'unmount' the
floppy drive before ejecting the floppy to make sure that the caching of
writing to the disk is flushed first.
