Hmmm, I have a bunch of those, but not in running systems right now. IIRC, the rtl8139 driver was replaced by 8139too or 8139cp, depending on the exact chipset. I'm surprised that kudzu didn't configure the right driver for you. You can try loading the modules manually, as in: # modprobe 8139too Then check the output of dmesg to see if it recognized your card. If so, add a line like: alias eth0 8139too ...to /etc/modules.conf. If neither of the included drivers work you'll need to build the driver that's on your floppy. Does it include any instructions at all? - -- Matt Brodeur RHCE MBrodeur@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.NextTime.com Okay, who put a "stop payment" on my reality check? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFA9C3jc8/WFSz+GKMRAo3jAJ4/1j2x8RF7NuL+O2rUX5xp9Z26LwCgpPVq Yse7Pod4kNWzyWPUUW7Ju7k= =JMA0 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list
