    I think you should copy/paste.  I see nothing wrong with having a user
with the same name as a group.  So any reasonable software that makes use
of /etc/group can be expected to interpret

Group1:userA,userB,userC
Group2:userD,Group1

to mean that the users named "userD" and "Group1" are in the group named
"Group2", and are not necessarily in the group named "Group1" (unless
/etc/passwd specifies that they are), while the users named "userA",
"userB", and "userC" are in the group named "Group1", and are not
necessarily in the group named "Group2".
