What make and model of printer is it??

I have a Canon S830D. When I print using cups' native drivers, it prints
very slowly. But when I print it via Turboprint, it prints around 3 times
faster.

Subject: Evolution extremely slow printing HTML email

Hi,

I am trying to convert some windows users over to RH9/Evolution 1.2.

I've run into an embarrassing little problem. I'm finding that even a
simple html email with no images takes about 2 minutes to spool. The whole
time, the outline of the print window stays up and does not redraw and is
unresponsive. If I have it print to a file, I get a 21 MB file.
When it prints, it does look ok. I have the printer driver set to 300dpi
in cups. Why is evolution generating such a huge file? Is it send 1200dpi
or something? Is there a way to fix this? Or send it to the background?

An html email containing only 6 very short lines expands to 22MB!

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve Bergman
