Id be happy with ANYTHING updating the bind!! My setup is I have a server running both DHCP and BIND, and I have a few computers (linux and winxp) that get DHCP addresses, and ive been trying to figure out how to make it work. Can I see what your dhcpd.conf looks like? Im sure im making the smallest mistake, which is having ill effect on my results. jonathan -----Original Message----- From: shrike-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:shrike-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mike Kercher Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2004 5:21 PM To: 'Discussion of Red Hat Linux 9 (Shrike)' Subject: RE: dhcp to bind updates? Are you talking about allowing Win2K/WinXP boxes to update the DNS? If so, it worked for me right away. Has anyone got this working? All I could get was update style is not right. I worked on this for a couple hours, and got nowhere fast? Any tips? jonathan -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list
