Subject: Unable to mount cdrom

Hey,
I am not able to mount cdrom.
When I do mount

root$mount /dev/cdrom
mount: No medium found

I have tried everything: when I do lsmod I get for
cdrom

cdrom 33728 0 [sr_mod ide-cd]

I have also tried

mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom

and mount -t iso9660 /mnt/cdrom /dev/cdrom

nothing works

I need to mount my cdrom urgently.
Please help

Thanks

When it states that there's "no medium found", it usually means that there's
no CD in the drive. And that can also mean that there's a problem with the
drive in that the drive does not recognise the CD, or the media is faulty.
