I find your statement amazing . This morning with a 450MHz processor
and 384Mb of memory it took over a minute to open Mozilla. Open office
takes somewhat longer. Nor even in a 2 Ghz 500Mb ram does Open office
open as fast as the office applications on on my wifes 2.2 Ghz 256 Mb Ram
machine,

I would love to know what is the difference. Have you installed all of
shrike or just a subset, since that makes a big difference?
