Hey, I just reinstalled Fedura on my Red Hat 9. I wrote xmms on the terminal and I got this error.
$ Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified ** CRITICAL **: Unable to open display
1. Are you typing that as the same user who started X? if not, it's disabled for security reasons.
2. Did you change hostname after starting X? If so you need to log out and log in again.
