Hi Shane: To use .bin files: bin files are autoexecutable files. Here is what i make every time that i need to use one of them: Change owner to root executing chown root:root file.bin Give execution rights to the file, executing chmod 755 file.bin Execute the file, executing ./file.bin HTH ( I could kill to thes a native Linux client for Lotus Notes, actually I'm using Lotus Notes Client 5.0.11 for Windows under Crossover ) }:D Regards David Ballester Montolio Responsable de Sistemas y Comunicaciones Kern Pharma, S.L. www.kernpharma.com GNU! |---------+------------------------------> | | shane c branch | | | <scbranch@xxxxxxxxx| | | u> | | | Enviado por: | | | shrike-list-admin@r| | | edhat.com | | | | | | | | | 16/01/2004 18:00 | | | Por favor, responda| | | a shrike-list | | | | |---------+------------------------------> >-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | | | Para: shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx | | cc: | | Asunto: Re: glibc21 and bin file question | >-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| dballester@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > mmmmhh... ?
