I2C + lm_Sensors + kernel 2.4.23

Hi All,

1st of all, how can I determine what version of the i2c/lm_sensors I
have in kernel 2.4.23. (There's a diff out in lm_sensors Homepage.. so I
suspect it's not the latest one)

Anyway, I would like to find out what exactly will lm_sensors/i2c package do
for me? I'm asking this specifically on a Laptop (Dell D600 to be specific).

I just found out that I did not compile in i2c support in the kernel.. So I
guess lm_sensors is also not compiled in??

I currently am able to get Thermal/CPU Temperature via acpi.

Cheers,
Mun Heng, Ow
