unfortunately, it still didn't work. the im client rpm still failed on the same dependency when i tried:
# rpm -i --test <rpm>
Did you install the rep-gtk-0.17-4.i386.rpm ? If so, try a:
rpm -ql rep-gtk-0.17-4 |grep -i gtk.so
If you don't find it, you might have to get the rep-gtk-0.17-6.i386.rpm for Severn at http://rpmfind.net, and install that.
