Switching between GNOME and KDE

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all

I'm quite new to Red Hat Linux and Linux in general.

I have installed a RH9 server wich I administrate remotely through SSH
and VNC.
I have installed both GNOME and KDE desktop enviroments.

When I connect to the box using VNC I get the default GNOME desktop.
I know when you boot up to a graphical login you can select wich desktop
you want for this session before loggin in but I have a no moniror
connected to the server at this time...

I suppose if I had changed this at the login screen and then loggedd inn
with KDE and selected it as default I then could login using VNC and
then I also had KDE via VNC.
But as I said that is hard to change without a monirot connected to the
server.

How can I change between KDE and GNOME?
Where can I change this? Wich config file holds this?

Please help me identify the config file where I can change between KDE
and GNOME desktops and how it is done.

Thanks in advance :-)

Øyvind
