Locking of a Xterm TerminalFrom: Ow Mun Heng
Subject: Locking of a Xterm Terminal

Hi,
Does anyone have a solution to locking a shell terminal? I'm
logged onto my server via Putty<->ssh and sometimes need to leave my
desk for a bit. Is there a way to lock the terminal without needing to
logout each time I need to go to the loo??

Screensaver?
If you're using gnome, there's a Lock Screen choice right above Log Out.
You have to be non-root in X for it to work.
