Based on the above, I can think of two things that might be at play here. One is that the ip address of the remote host has changed and you are connecting to the wrong host (wild ass guess). Second is your remote host has been compromised and the cracker has modified sshd configuration or has installed their own sshd.

How I could check this ? I just upgraded to SSH 3.2.9. client (www.ssh.com) but still
get the warning "Host identification has changed"...
If you can get into the server somehow, in your home directory, try a 'mv .Xauthority .Xauth.bk', then try to login from your client.
I did so, but nothing happened, my client keep warning me that "Host identification has changed".
Any further tips would be most welcome.
