Hi all, i'm encountering some problems to setup a backup system with RH9 and a IBM TR-7 Travan tape. The tape is recognized (/dev/ht0), i can use mt erase and mt rewind but when i try to write something with tar on it i've got this error message: # tar cvf /dev/ht0 /etc --> ide-tape: ht0: I/O ERROR, pc =a, key = 5, asc = 22, ascq = 0 Is anyone using the same tape? Anyone knows if this tape is supported by RH9? I haven't found it in the hw list on redhat.com....
