I tried this but same problem occurred. I asked our sys ad regarding my problem and found out that our Exchange 5.5 is just a relay server. We are using an ISP to handle our email (incoming and outgoing). What our Exchange does is forward mails to our ISP for our outgoing mails while our ISP will send to to our Exchange our incoming mails. Is this the reason why I cant connect to our Exchange? I can send email but cant retrieve the mails. I want to use linux in a Microsoft-centered environment but I have to prove to my boss that I can make it work. What will I do so I can make it work? Thanks a lot! Does Pine have a log file that contains the > error so I can check it? The only other thing I can see in my pinerc that might help is: folder-collections="Inbox" {<server>/user=<username>}INBOX.[] You could try starting pine with -d option if debugging was compiled in (not by default on Redhat) pine -d 9 IIRC, this should write debugging information to .pine-debug -- Stephen Carville http://www.heronforge.net/~stephen/gnupgkey.txt ------------------------------------------------------------------ Right wing socialists hate privacy as much as left wing socialists hate guns. -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list
