YOU DA Man!!! Okay.. credit goes out to all that helped..

I finally figured it out..

The proper syntax is this..

domain_name/domain_login_name/email_address

example :

domain : play-play
domain-login-name : morpheous_s
email address : morpheous.smith@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

so... you go

telnet play.play.com 110
user play-play/morpheous_s/morpheous.smith
+ OK
pass mypass
+ OK

Woo..Hoo..!!!!

Now, I will try out my linux dept server as my own mail server.. Filtering..
spamassasin.. virus-scanner etc..

Cheers, .^.

Telnet to port 110 and try various combinations of usernames along the lines
I
show. Enter the three parts and two slashes. When you figure it out, please
post back to the list.
