SB0200 is the "WinModem" equivalent of sound cards. It does software DSP, and only Dell has written drivers for it, which only works with Windows XP. It's manufactured by creative, but not supported by them since they don't release a retail version of this card. Some people have had luck with refunds and swapping it for a real SBLive from dell, so I'll see how I go with that... Apparently there is a non-open, non-free driver for linux somewhere, but the sound quality is not very good. see http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2003/debian-user-200306/msg00631.html and http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=sw_linux&message.id=2362 and their followups for more info on these issues. In the mean time, if anyone has any more leads, please let me know!
