I have this:

	Aterm*scrollBar:	false

Of course, you want it to be "true".

Now, tell us why you didn't just Read The Fu^Hine Manual for aterm,
wherein it says amongst the options:

       -sb|+sb
              Turn on/off scrollbar; resource scrollBar.

thus telling you what resource to use. I found that by searching for
"scrollbar" pretty quickly. The manual (from "man aterm") even has a
nice long section on its resources.
