Does anyone know of a good GTK2 Latex editor or IDE which does syntax

lyx is the definitive LaTeX editor. I think it's in the RH distribution (I don't have it installed here at the moment). Emacs, well, Xemacs anyway, has really good support for LaTeX which includes syntax highlighting -- XEmacs isn't GTK2, but it is graphical (why does it specifically need to be GTK2?)
