Installed Valhalla (RHL7,3) to be sure the system was kosher, then tried to
install RHL9.
Message "Testing to see if WP bit is honored even in supervisor mode" is
last (normal) msg to display.
Next message is "unable to handle paging fault at c0000000" followed by
"Attempting to kill idle task".
Tried answering the boot menu question with
linux noprobe
linux lowers
linux mem=63MB
and in combination, plus 'askmethod', 'text', etc.
No joy no boot (ergo can't install)
What other things might I try? In the name of RTFM, which M should I R?
