There is supposed to be a file created in the root directory of an ext3
filesystem called .journal with the journal information. So far, I
haven't been able to see it on my ext3 systems with ls -la. The inode
identified with the journal in dumpe2fs doesn't show up in ls -lai
either.
Short of using a disk editor, how does one find it?
