First in the spirit of honesty I caused the problem . I just don't know how to fix it. I tried to do a rpm -Uvh install of spamassassin while spamassassin was still running (i.e., spamd and more important spamc was running). The rpm install crashed which is not surprising now we are left with the following: [akonstam@Moof akonstam]$ rpm -qa |grep spam spamassassin-2.55-1 spamassassin-tools-2.55-1 rpm -e spamassassin-2.55-1 spamassassin-2.55-1 not installed rpm -Uvh spamassassin-2.55-1.i386.rpm returns that spamassassin-2.55-1.i386.rpm is installed and to go any further I have to use the --force option. My hope was rpm --rebuilddb would cure the problem but it did not. -- ------------------------------------------- Aaron Konstam Computer Science Trinity University 715 Stadium Dr. San Antonio, TX 78212-7200 telephone: (210)-999-7484 email:akonstam@xxxxxxxxxxx -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list
