Okay.. I compiled my custom kernel to get ACPI and cpufreq scaling for my D600 Dell centrino laptop. Stock Kernel see no such problems. (AT least not that I can see in logwatch) >ipt_REJECT: 2 Time(s) > >Voila! This is the reason why your iptables-restore fails (other >mailing-list thread). You are missing parts of netfilter or >some netfilter modules. I _think_ i compiled in everything about netfilter.. I'll have to have another check. I know I can turn then _off_ using "alias char-major-97 off" which then I don't see this modprobe error again. But I would still like to know what's calling these modules. >>RH has patched their perl-5.8.0 ( and a new revison -88 is now out) >>th various fixes taken from perl-5.9 development track, but. Does this mean I _should_ upgrade my PErl Module??? This is the reason why your iptables-restore fails (other mailing-list thread). You are missing parts of netfilter or some netfilter modules. All the other modules loader warnings/errors are too many to comment on them. I'll leave that to someone else. You can also check the various list archives. Such warnings and also ways to turn them off have been discussed often enough. - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/cRKq0iMVcrivHFQRAqDWAJ493XRZAun6rvNxDimNAXppXZPDYwCgiG30 dKVW0z1g/Vfr4PH4CNKuiuI= =jarB -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list
