[Fwd: upgrading kernel on boot cd]

forwarding to a broader audience.

I'm having difficulties upgrading our custom kickstart boot CD of RH9. I basically want to upgrade the boot CD to use kernel-BOOT-2.4.20-20.9.

I tried using the newer vmlinuz that came with the rpm, but it's looking for modules in the 2.4.20-20.9BOOT folder. I've even tried to copy the modules from /lib/modules/2.4.20-20.9BOOT/, then recompress the initrd.img.

-thanks

I've upgraded the 2.4.20-8BOOT CD to include unsupported drivers. Is there a similar way to upgrade the Boot CD to use the latest errrata version? I want to see if it fixes a problem with centrino chips.
