I have a problem making an e1000 on-board NIC to work using SMP kernel. After the redhat-9 e1000 did not work, I compiled e1000-5.2.16 from intel using the smp kernel. The module created loads but won't communicate. The same version, on the same non-smp-kernel, same hardware, works fine. Any ideas?
