How to free RAM without reboot

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all folks,

I am running 256MB RAM. After running the OS a while it drops to about
20MB free even closing all applications. I have to reboot the PC to
free it then it comes up to about 120MB free.

On M$ I use a small program to free RAM avoiding reboot. On Linux is
there a short-cut to free RAM avoiding reboot?

Thanks in advance.
