I've just searched Redhat's bugzilla under the Rawhide product, and read the Severn release notes, and there is no mention of this. Is this a packaging bug, or has something changed with 2.4.22 which make module-info no longer required? $ rpm -ql kernel-2.4.22-20.1.2024.2.36.nptl | grep boot /boot/System.map-2.4.22-20.1.2024.2.36.nptl /boot/config-2.4.22-20.1.2024.2.36.nptl /boot/vmlinux-2.4.22-20.1.2024.2.36.nptl /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.22-20.1.2024.2.36.nptl $ rpm -ql kernel-2.4.20-13.9 | grep boot /boot/System.map-2.4.20-13.9 /boot/config-2.4.20-13.9 /boot/module-info-2.4.20-13.9 /boot/vmlinux-2.4.20-13.9 /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.20-13.9 $ rpm -ql kernel-2.4.20-20.9 | grep boot /boot/System.map-2.4.20-20.9 /boot/config-2.4.20-20.9 /boot/module-info-2.4.20-20.9 /boot/vmlinux-2.4.20-20.9 /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.20-20.9 -- ===================================================================== D.
