upgrading from 7.0/7.3 to 9.0

I have 2 RH machines -- one is version 7.0 and the other is 7.3. 
I'd like to upgrade both to 9.0. Does anyone know if I can go directly
from 7->9, or must I upgrade to version 8 first?
