If you've installed an rpm package which doesn't have one, or has a lower one, this is what will happen, whatever the real version is. You could eventually grab my nmap package(s) from http://shrike.freshrpms.net/ as they have the same epoch as the original Red Hat Linux packages, so you shouldn't have that problem any more.
