Re: Java Plugin for Mozilla Lost

What I've done is to avoid this is to create two symlinks:

    /usr/java/jdk -> /usr/java/<current version>
    /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so ->
        /usr/java/jdk/jre/plugin/i386/ns610/libjavaplugin_oji.so

All Java JDK or JRE references, such as my PATH, JAVA_HOME and JDK_HOME
environment variables, use /usr/java/jdk as their base. That way, only
one symlink needs to be updated after an installation, and I can have
multiple Java installations without collision. For example,
pre-releases can be evaluated without disturbing my "normal"
environment.

Hope this helps,

Tom
