True if it were the 2940-U model but it's not.  It's a 2940-UW which has a
max tranfer rate of 40MB/s.  However, further research indicates that the
*drives* are limited to 20MB/s.  <sigh>  Oh well.

I'm using device /dev/st0 to write the backup to.  Is that the best choice?
