Hi all folks, 1) How is software RAID compared with hardware RAID in performance. 2) Is it RAID-0/1 partitioning the hard drive into 2 partitions? RAID-0 & 1 partitioning the hard drive into 4 partitions? RAID-5 partitioning the hard drive into 5 partitions? 3) What about if I need /boot, / , /home, /swap in separate partitions then I have to further partition their partitions?
