Arjan's kernel 2.6. Problems with mouse and agpgart.

I think I recall seeing those problems in the list before, but I am not
sure.

Since it's a lazy sunday, I decided to test kernel 2.6.0-0-test1.1.26
but after rebooting I encountered two problems:

1. My USB mouse doesn't work. Doing a "modprobe -r uhci-hcd" doesn't
bring it to live, it says "unknown module: uhci-hcd".

2. Party killer: My X environment doesn't start. It complains about the
following:

Jul 27 16:19:46 home modprobe: FATAL: Module char_major_10_134 not
found.
Jul 27 16:19:47 home kernel: Linux agpgart interface v0.100 (c) Dave
Jones
Jul 27 16:19:48 home gdm[1002]: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X
error - Restarting :0
Jul 27 16:19:48 home modprobe: FATAL: Module char_major_10_134 not
found.
Jul 27 16:19:49 home modprobe: FATAL: Module agpgart already in kernel.
Jul 27 16:19:49 home kernel: warning: process `update' used the obsolete
bdflush system call
Jul 27 16:19:49 home kernel: Fix your initscripts?
Jul 27 16:19:50 home gdm[1008]: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X
error - Restarting :0
Jul 27 16:19:53 home modprobe: FATAL: Module char_major_10_134 not
found.
Jul 27 16:19:53 home modprobe: FATAL: Module agpgart already in kernel.
Jul 27 16:19:54 home gdm[1014]: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X
error - Restarting :0
Jul 27 16:19:57 home modprobe: FATAL: Module char_major_10_134 not
found.
Jul 27 16:19:58 home modprobe: FATAL: Module agpgart already in kernel.
Jul 27 16:19:59 home gdm[1020]: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X
error - Restarting :0
Jul 27 16:19:59 home gdm[960]: deal_with_x_crashes: Running the
XKeepsCrashing script

... and I don't know what to do. I do have a crappy i810 integrated
video card that works well with any RHL version. Here is the relevant
/etc/X11/XF86Config part:

Section "Device"
        Identifier "Videocard0"
        Driver "i810"
        VendorName "Videocard vendor"
        BoardName "Intel 810"
EndSection

So, I guess I'll continue looking in the archives for success stories.

It's not like I want to use kernel 2.6.0-test for my daily work, I just
wanted to test it :)

Thanks for the input.

Alex.
