Hi Mike: I know, but I wanna avoid to dive in the /var/log/messages. I wanna make all work with bash scripts, to automate all without user intervention, and it's difficult to get /var/log/messages, extract all usb plug messages, search exactly the line ( by date, usb device, etc..) that fits the correct plug.
