Hi again: Does Samba work for messenger service in MS Windows domain/workgroup? As in MS Windows, there is a command: c:\> net send pc-name whatever-message-here Which will send the message "whatever-message-here" to the computer called "pc- name". Is there a similar command for Samba? It is also nice to do with 'smbclient -M pc-name'; but that requires that, the pc-name has already started the WinPopUp.
