I have been trying to rebuild and install the 2.6 test kernel but keep running into issues or rather conflicts with oprofile < 0.5.3 on the server I am trying to install the test kernel on. Now I can go ahead and use the '--nodeps' parameter but wanted to know if this would cause an issue down the road. I checked RawHide for a newer version of oprofile to go with this test kernel but could not find one < 0.5.3. Any ideas?
