Go to Control Center, and check the information tab. In there you will find
a tab labeled 'USB Devices'.

In that tab, it will show you all your USB ports, and what device is
connected to them, and at what speed etc.

I have 6 usb ports on my Gateway 500. How do I insure
that kudzu/hotplug is functional and will detect the
devices I plug in?
