I'm on the verge of buying an external FireWire drive. There's a couple
of things I'm curious about: if I just plug it in will Kudzu/updfstab
automatically create mount points and fstab entries; and, what does one
have to do when you want to unplug it - is right clicking on its
nautilus icon and choosing "unmount" sufficient to make then unplugging
it safe? I guess what I'm asking is: how "hot-pluggable" are these
drives? Does magicdev cause them to show up on the nautilus desktop?

TIA, Darren
