Some broken Java apps (including this bank's) rely on the ersatz Java
plugin built into IE and Netscape 4.x. They don't work with the official
Sun Java yet, so simply fooling the server into thinking it's got the
right browser would not be enough to solve the problem. I am assured that
a solution is in the works[1], but I have no idea how long it will take.

[1] Will have to be, since MS will no longer be able to ship the borked IE
Java after Jan. 2004.
