Hello Thanks to everyone who responded last time I posted about this problem. It was suggested I use /etc/rc.local for my smb mounting needs, which I did. Now the problem is, I don't remember if this started happening immediately, or worked fine a couple of times, but right now booting up the system hangs on the last service it usually starts: Starting Red Hat Network Daemon [OK] I tried disabling that service, it would hang on service 'local'. Commenting out anything related to smb mounts in /etc/rc.local fixes the problem. Any ideas here?
