That shouldn't have happened... how odd.  It's looking in the right dir I 
think... find out where /lib/modules/2.4.20-13.9/build points to.  It's a 
symlink.  Make sure it's pointing to /usr/src/linux-2.4.20-13.9

Or you can use the shell variable to ignore the gcc match.
