iscan and libpthread.so

Hi,

I was using iscan with my scanner Epson 1250. Xsane was working, but the
result was not so clear. Iscan was much better.

I did not use it everyday, and I upgraded my machine to the last level
of RH9. Xsane is still working, but this is impossible to launch iscan,
having the message : canno't find libpthread.so . Segmentation fault.
I was using the RPM iscan-1.5.1-5.i386.rpm or iscan-1.4.0-5.i386.rpm
with quite the same result.

Is this something to do with the new libc..., because I read somewhere
that libpthread.o is in compat_glibc ...?

Or is this some incompatibility with iscan and some libraries in RH9 ?

Any information, or any link would be helpful.

Thanks,
