USB and PS/2 Mouse - plug-n-play?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Thanks for the answers so far...but...

...I'm still not getting anywhere on this - sure, I can
run mouseconfig. Well, I set it to the Logitech
PS/2 Wheel mouse that I have at work, which works
as well for the touchpad (without the middle button,
but that's ok). But it still won't recognize the USB
mouse when I plug it in. Is there a "generic" PS/2
mouse that I have to configure, that allows the USB
mouse to be magically recognized and "wired up"?

(I'd stop bugging ya'll if I could find some docs...but
there don't seem to be any. I'm willing to dig through
code, conf files, whatever, I just need some pointers :-)
