Howdy, folks,

I just upgraded a rh7.3 box to Shrike and now at random intervals of seconds to a couple of minute the following message pops up on the command line:

"i8253 count too high! resetting..."

Does anyone know what this means and what can be done to stop it?

TIA,
Paul Dubinsky
