Greetings, I'm Using RH9, up2date-ed. I use KDE as my window manager/desktop, but sometimes I use GNOME apps like nautilus. When I start up various GNOME apps inside KDE, I am getting CORBA-related error messages. Here is what I got when I started up gnome-control-center ( got the same message for nautilus), for example: Configuration server couldn't be contacted: CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/BAD_OPERATION:1.0 Configuration server couldn't be contacted: CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/BAD_OPERATION:1.0 Configuration server couldn't be contacted: CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/BAD_OPERATION:1.0 Configuration server couldn't be contacted: CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/BAD_OPERATION:1.0 Any ideas what's wrong?
